Griezmann is Jose Mourinho’s top target for Manchester United.
Reports emerged yesterday suggesting a deal has been agreed in principle for the Frenchman, which includes the player’s weekly wage and shirt number.
The United board it is thought, would have to spend at least £86m on the player.
And now according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, United won’t stop at Griezmann.
It is thought they will chase a deal for his team-mate Kevin Gameiro too.
Although the report claims that Gameiro, who only joined Atletico last summer, is attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, United will rival them for his signature.
Diego Simeone has spoken about recent Antoine Griezmann speculation.
“I don’t tie anyone down, I simply keep working to continue getting better for the sake of the club.
“He is in an extraordinary moment, is working well, has gotten back on the score sheet and his form is good.
It is normal that the best teams in the world want him. I am not surprised that the teams who are looking are the ones who can afford him.”
Will Griezmann join his compatriot Paul Pogba at Manchester United?
